Hi! My name is Jessie,

I am so excited you are here and want to tell you a little bit about myself. I love Jesus more than anything and everything I have is because of his goodness to me. I am a wife to Chad and mom to three amazing kids! My family is apart of the driving force behind my work and the vision I have for it.

I enjoy meeting new people, I enjoy the community I am surrounded by and the people in my life. A big part of that community was framed out of the relationships made through my work. My job is so much more than taking pictures but capturing one of the most beautiful seasons of your life. I want to build a relationship with each and everyone one of you!

I love shooting in the moment photography, capturing what’s happening as it happens. I love shooting outdoors in different kinds of light, weather and nature. I started in sports photography, moved to weddings and elopements and have landed here, as a family photographer. I still take a handful of weddings a year, but my primary focus is your growing family and the seasons of life that comes with having a family.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Then this is a great time to start! Relax, and remember this is so important to document all seasons of life. Let the kids be themselves! The more comfortable the kiddos are then better our end results will be.

  • Yes! I require a 50% non refundable retainer fee for weddings, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your date. And the entire fee for photo sessions is due at time of booking. This fee is required to reserve a full calendar date with me.

  • For weddings - there is a sneak peek within a week of your wedding date. With the entire album done in 6 weeks. For all other portraits sessions your photos will have a turn around time of 4 weeks or less. Mini Sessions receive their photos in 2 weeks.

  • I am in Battle Ground, WA. Just 30 minutes from Portland, OR. I travel all over the PNW and West Coast. For all destination inquiries , email me and we can talk!

  • Awesome! I can’t wait! You need to fill out a contact form here , then let me know what kind of coverage you need and when. I will send a booking link, and contract, then invoice. Once you pay your session fee (or retainer for weddings) we are all set! Then we start planning some of the reaming details and stay in touch until it’s time to shoot.

  • All edited galleries are delivered in high-res via an online gallery that will allow you to download to your computer or phone for printing and sharing! You are able to share your gallery with family and friends with your own personalized link. As well as order prints through the online platform .

  • This is a great question! I would describe my style as photo journalistic meets storyteller. With warm earthy tones, and natural light. I don’t add or take away from the moment too much, I try to capture you guys showing real life emotions and expressions. It’s important to me to display your beauty and true nature.

  • First of all, don’t stress this. Most people have this same question. My job is to capture who you are as a person, a family or a couple. Not everyone is jumping around, spinning or belly laughing. It’s not my job to make you fall into poses that don’t feel natural or comfortable for you. My job is to capture what’s happening. I can direct you into poses yes, but if you can go through the motions of doing or feeling something, that is where the magic happens. More on this after booking.

I've know Jessie for quite a few years and decided to have her take my senior pictures. Before the shoot I was nervous about having my picture taken and if it was going to be awkward. However, my fears quickly came to an end when the shoot began because she made me feel so comfortable. I was constantly laughing and having a great time. Jessie has taken my familys portrait, my senior pictures, and other random shoots as well. I am not necessarily the most photogenic or comfortable person in front of the camera, and Jessie has never failed to make me feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera! She always captures the beautiful candid pictures while laughing, ect. She does her homework before shoots and always has gorgeous locations. There is no doubt that she has an eye for photography.

CHOOSE A PACKAGE

We set up a time to chat about your needs, wants, and to answer any of your questions. You two choose a package. Or, just let me know what package you’re interested in.

CONTRACT

I will send over a proposal and contract for you both to look over and sign. An invoice is attached, and the retainer fee is due to make everything official and to hold your date!

YOU’RE ALL SET

We can start planning your engagement session and I will send over questionnaires to better get to know you. A month or so before the wedding we have a planning session or two and then you get freaking married!!
