Amanda + Cody // Alaska
This was the first time I have her been to Alaska and it won’t be the last. This was such a fun weekend that it hardly felt like work for me, I was picked up by the bride's father at the airport and we drove about 40 minutes through the Alaska wilderness to their home. Pioneer Ridge bed and breakfast is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, with a rich history as Alaska’s once largest dairy farm as well as the breathtaking views it makes for the perfect getaway to experience Alaska.
Amanda‘s family had spent months of preparation getting ready to hold their daughter’s wedding at their home and bed and breakfast. They welcomed me As if I were apart of the family, opening up their home and their food and anything else that I would need while I stayed with them. Guests from all over the world came to celebrate Amanda and Cody, we all got to know each other over shared meals and good coffee. Amanda’s wedding day was filled with as many personal touches as I’ve ever seen at any wedding. Amanda made her own wedding cake, invitations and paper goods, even the benches were homemade. Their wedding left me with a sense of togetherness the kind of togetherness that only a wedding can bring.
I hope you guys enjoy this beautiful Alaska wedding!
